Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; weekend shifts may be required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver specialized care to ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries and total joint replacements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery
Evaluate and treat a wide variety of patient populations while maintaining the highest standards of care
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR to ensure seamless communication across the care team

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapy license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple specialties
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
ICU and ventilated patient management
Cardiology and cardiac surgery patient care
Oncology rehabilitation experience
Cerner EMR documentation proficiency
