Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, and orthopedic needs
Monitor and titrate Heparin drips while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
Adapt quickly to varying unit assignments and acuity levels including ICU holds when appropriate
Provide education and emotional support to adult and geriatric patients and their families

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Prior neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, and ortho populations
Comfortable floating between MS-Tele, PCU, and low-acuity ICU holds
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and reliable with scheduling needs
