Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro, CVA, pulmonary, and general telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs with confidence using centralized telemetry
Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and PCTs to deliver seamless patient care
Manage high-flow oxygen therapies like Airvo and support patients on vents
Respond quickly and effectively during critical changes in patient condition

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts max) and Sim Lab on day one

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Comfortable with neuro and cardiopulmonary patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced unit
Proficient with high-flow oxygen systems and telemetry monitoring
