Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float throughout the Zone 1 region to support facilities from Colorado Springs to Canon City
Monitor cardiac and neurological patients while safely titrating Heparin drips
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varied patient populations including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, and trauma cases
Support both day and night shifts while maintaining excellent nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Prior neuro experience is preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
Comfort managing Heparin drips and caring for varied acuity levels
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating across multiple specialties
Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
