Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert circulating support across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, techs, and the care team to ensure seamless procedures for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric patients
• Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and fingernail policy to protect every patient
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and teamwork

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proven experience in multiple surgical specialties with comfort across varied case types
• Strong familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90 percent
• Valid driver's license to confirm compliance with the 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics procedures
• Comfort working in a fast-paced OR without specialized teams
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for pre/post-op and trauma situations
• Excellent communication and willingness to educate peers
