Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams that directly impact patient care
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and compassion
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate imaging results
Maintain equipment and ensure excellent image quality using Philips scanners
Document studies efficiently in Fuji EPIC and PACS systems

Qualifications

Active RDMS certification (General or OBGYN) required
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound with vascular skills preferred
Comfortable performing procedures and handling 8-10+ scans per day

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound techniques
Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment
Familiarity with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality imaging
Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach
