Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Monitor and interpret telemetry while managing titratable drips including Heparin, Nitro, and Amiodarone
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level patient care standards
Support diverse patient populations including Hispanic and Somalian communities with cultural sensitivity

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency in arterial line management and telemetry interpretation
Minimum one year of PCU experience preferred
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Valid driver's license required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Experience with titratable drips and arterial line management
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Team collaboration and willingness to accept constructive feedback
Cultural competency serving diverse patient populations
