Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, holistic care to oncology and trauma patients across the continuum from diagnosis through remission
• Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition using ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring skills
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers to deliver comprehensive care
• Champion patient experience through hourly rounding and genuine, respectful interactions with diverse populations
• Float to same-level-of-care units to support team needs while expanding clinical expertise

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
• BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
• Chemotherapy administration certification required
• Comfortable with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
• Willingness to float within similar levels of care
• Valid driver's license to confirm radius compliance

Knowledge & Skills

• Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing principles
• Hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz, and EV-1000
• Ventilator management and ICP monitoring
• Titration of insulin and cardizem drips
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities
• Cultural sensitivity and inclusive patient care
