Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with mid shifts starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including CVOR, ortho, neuro, and trauma surgeries
Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team throughout each procedure
Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor and OR leadership to deliver exceptional patient care
Handle total joints, general, vascular, and spine cases with precision and expertise

Qualifications

Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures required
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system
Familiarity with Phillips Telemetry monitoring
Ability to work 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week and approximately one weekend call per month
Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment with diverse surgical specialties

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Strong understanding of CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and lead extractions
Ability to adapt quickly to various surgical specialties and case types
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and support staff
Attention to detail in maintaining accurate surgical counts and documentation
