Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, and trauma
Manage and titrate cardiac drips including dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, and ativan
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to different units and patient populations
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Support patients recovering from general surgery, orthopedic procedures, gynecology, and detox programs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable with cardiac drip titration and managing insulin, heparin, and ativan
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and drip management skills
Ability to float between ICU holds, PCU/stepdown, and med-surg/telemetry units
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Comfort working with diverse patient populations from general medicine to post-surgical cases
