Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac, nephrology, and stroke care to adult and geriatric patients
Manage diabetes care and perform continuous EEG monitoring with attention to detail
Titrate cardiac medications including Cardizem and beta blockers safely and effectively
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain excellent 1:4-5 ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while delivering consistent high-quality care
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in our fast-paced progressive care environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of progressive care or telemetry experience preferred
Strong communication skills and positive attitude essential for team success

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac care and drip titration expertise
Nephrology and stroke patient management
Diabetes monitoring and seizure medication administration
Critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork
