Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units providing exceptional patient care
Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry monitoring needs
Care for post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and CABG patients on day 3-4 recovery
Collaborate with nurse aids and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations across both campuses

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year experience in PCU setting
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
Comfortable managing multiple titratable drips independently

Knowledge & Skills

Dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
Titratable drip management across multiple medications
Post-procedural care including groin site management
BiPAP, CPAP, and heated high flow oxygen therapy
Geriatric and orthopedic patient care expertise
