Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call, every 5th or 6th weekend on call, and rotating holiday call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery, orthopedics, and robotics
Collaborate with a tight-knit team that values safety and longevity
Support patients through pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases with compassion and expertise
Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to ensure seamless patient care
Educate and mentor colleagues while adapting to a dynamic daily surgical schedule

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in neurosurgery and all major surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR without specialized teams
Willingness to pass an open-book skills exam during orientation
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records
Skilled in DaVinci robotics procedures
Knowledgeable in adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric surgical cases
Flexible and adaptable to varied daily schedules
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
