Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across MS-Tele and specialty units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, bariatrics, ortho, trauma, and ED observation patients
Titrate heparin drips and manage a variety of post-surgical and medical diagnoses
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while upholding the highest clinical standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and work flexible schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical populations
Comfort managing cardiac drips, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical patients
Excellent communication and adaptability when floating between facilities
Proficient with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and basic respiratory equipment
