Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips including Cardizem and beta-blockers
Provide continuous EEG monitoring for adult and geriatric patients
Deliver compassionate care to patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes diagnoses
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain safe 1:4-5 ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while maintaining excellent communication
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration experience
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Positive attitude, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation
Safe titration of Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Continuous EEG monitoring techniques
Adult and geriatric patient assessment
Critical thinking and quick problem-solving in high-acuity settings
