Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams that directly impact patient care
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision and compassion
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate imaging results
Maintain equipment and ensure excellent image quality for every patient
Provide a welcoming experience for patients during every scan

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN) required
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound
Procedure experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Philips ultrasound equipment
Experience with Fuji and EPIC systems
Skilled in a variety of ultrasound studies and procedures
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
