Location: Bakersfield, California

End Date: 09-02-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert physical therapy care to 12+ patients daily across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER units
Assess and treat patients recovering from TKA, THA, spinal surgery, CVA, and general medical conditions
Develop personalized rehabilitation plans that help patients regain strength and independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Document progress and adjust treatment approaches to maximize recovery

Qualifications

Active California PT license required
BLS certification needed
Acute inpatient physical therapy experience essential
Strong assessment and rehabilitation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Acute inpatient physical therapy expertise
Patient assessment and care planning
Rehabilitation across medical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
Comfort working in fast-paced hospital settings
