Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekend call, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures with precision and care
Operate GE imaging equipment and utilize Radnet & Merge Unity systems to deliver accurate diagnostic results
Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
Maintain quality standards while completing 5-10 studies per day in a fast-paced environment
Float to Mercy Downtown campus when needed to support patient care across locations

Qualifications

Active CA NMTL license required
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
Comfortable working independently with strong attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear Medicine imaging expertise
Proficiency with GE equipment and PACS systems
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to manage rotating call responsibilities
Flexible and adaptable to floating between campuses
