Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Triage patients and confidently manage labor progression including Pitocin titration
Serve as the primary nurse catching babies and supporting smooth newborn transitions
Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to deliver personalized care in a rural setting
Support occasional needs on the med-surg unit when extra hands are needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Comfortable functioning independently as both labor nurse and baby catcher

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP skills including triage and Pitocin management
Ability to read fetal monitoring strips confidently
Adaptable and ready to support a close-knit rural healthcare team
Experience with OBIX EFM system is a plus
