Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care that promotes comfort and enhances residents' quality of life
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching, training, and education on proper nursing techniques
Deliver safe, professional care following facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
Coordinate individualized plans of care to ensure each resident receives personalized attention
Uphold safety standards with universal precautions and proactive communication of concerns

Qualifications

Active Alaska LPN licensure required
Current American Heart Association BLSP (CPR) certification required
1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with 8-12 month preceptorship

Education

Associate's degree in nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and medication administration skills
Leadership and staff development abilities
Commitment to resident dignity and person-centered care
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
