Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Assist patients with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
Monitor and document patient vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
Collaborate with nurses and clinicians to help deliver high-quality care
Communicate respectfully with patients and families to promote comfort and dignity

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (California certification preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or willing to obtain
Valid state-required immunizations and TB clearance as per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings
Prior experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Active CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic clinical observations
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Comfort with electronic charting or paper documentation systems
