Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote patient comfort
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Adhere to infection control practices and facility policies to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in California (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or obtained upon hire)
• Minimum experience providing hands-on patient care in a clinical setting
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
• Reliable transportation and punctual, professional demeanor

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered communication and bedside manner
• Skill in taking and accurately recording vital signs
• Basic knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Comfort with documentation and following care plans
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a team
