Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients with focus and professionalism
Assess patient condition continuously and respond promptly to changes in status
Administer medications, initiate and titrate life-support therapies per protocol
Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and advanced monitoring equipment
Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and execute care plans
Document patient care and changes accurately in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families about treatments, progress, and post-ICU care

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
ICU nursing experience and comfort caring for critically ill patients
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred or required depending on facility
Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ventilator management and weaning protocols
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive medication management
Familiarity with central line, arterial line, and other ICU devices
Experience with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
Excellent patient assessment and triage skills
Collaborative communication and interdisciplinary teamwork
