Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilators and provide advanced ventilator support for high-acuity patients
• Perform ABG collection and analysis to guide respiratory and clinical decision-making
• Provide trach care and assist with intubation when required to support airway management
• Deliver bronchodilator therapy, airway clearance techniques, and high-flow O2 therapy
• Respond to code blue events and provide critical respiratory support during emergencies
• Assess patients continuously and coordinate safe patient transports across the facility
• Document care accurately in Meditech and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Current RRT or CRT required
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (per job posting); ICU experience of one year preferred
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management and advanced respiratory procedures
• Comfortable working nights and covering every-other-weekend as part of a 36-hour schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong ventilator management skills and familiarity with Drager ventilators and Philips V60
• Experience with Vapotherm and Metaneb therapies
• Proficient in ABG collection/analysis and airway clearance techniques
• Skilled in code blue response and acute patient assessment
• Experience using Meditech for documentation and charting
