Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-02-2026

End Date: 09-01-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third weekend for days and every other weekend for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry with precision and care
Collaborate daily with providers, nurses, and fellow RTs to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float throughout the hospital to support various units while maintaining high standards of care
Manage ventilators, BiPAPs, and high-flow oxygen systems to optimize patient breathing
Adapt quickly to changing patient needs while demonstrating strong time management and communication skills

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Minimum 3 shifts of department-specific orientation completed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators
Experience with Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics BiPAP systems
Skilled in Airvo2 high-flow oxygen delivery
Strong time management and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and grow within diverse patient care settings
