Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights, holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to patients from neonates through geriatrics across all inpatient floors
• Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry with precision and care
• Manage ventilators including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion models for diverse patient needs
• Support patients with BiPAPs, CPAPs, and high-flow systems like the Airvo2
• Collaborate daily with providers and nursing teams to deliver seamless, high-quality care
• Float throughout the hospital in an RT capacity to support wherever you're needed most

Qualifications

• Current RRT or CRT credential required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP and PALS preferred
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and not be currently employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

• Strong time management and adaptability in fast-paced settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and grow across varied patient populations
• Comfort working with neonates through geriatric patients
• Proficiency with Drager, Servo I, Carefusion vents, Vision/V60/V30 BiPAPs, and Airvo2 high-flow systems
