Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret rhythm strips to keep patients safe
Perform thorough assessments and act quickly on clinical changes
Administer medications and therapies following established protocols
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to coordinate care
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the chart
Respond to codes and emergencies with calm, evidence-based action
Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning

Qualifications

Current RN license in California (or compact privilege if applicable)
Telemetry nursing experience preferred
BLS required; ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Current Basic Computer/EHR documentation skills

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring
IV medication administration and infusion pump experience
Clinical judgment, triage and escalation skills
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
Accurate and timely electronic charting
