Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess telemetry patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms and communicating changes promptly
• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care from admission through discharge
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, unit staff, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to patient needs and acute changes with calm, evidence-based interventions
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Telemetry experience or comfort with cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or able to obtain
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Skilled in IV medication administration and acute care assessments
• Familiar with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond effectively in fast-paced settings
• Patient-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills
