Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
Perform thorough patient assessments and create individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident-centered care
Document clinical findings, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Advocate for resident needs and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid for practice in Pennsylvania
Clinical experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or a similar setting preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and any state-required certifications
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient care mindset

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment and care planning
Proficient with medication administration and safe nursing practices
Comfortable documenting in electronic health records and charting accurately
Ability to work collaboratively with nursing assistants, therapists, and providers
Strong prioritization, time management, and critical thinking abilities
