End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Block scheduling with every other weekend and one summer plus one winter holiday required, standby call as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Attend deliveries as the baby nurse and provide expert newborn care
Start and maintain IVs while monitoring tiny patients with care and precision
Transfer infants to higher levels of care when needed, ensuring seamless handoffs
Support newborns with Bubble CPAP, Hi-Flow, and assist with umbilical line placement
Flex between SCN and postpartum assignments to keep every family supported
Administer and titrate drips such as D5W and TPN with confidence

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington
NRP and BLS certifications required
Skilled in attending deliveries as the baby nurse
Experience with NICU Level 2 and postpartum preferred
Proficient in IV starts, Bubble CPAP, Hi-Flow, and umbilical line assistance

Knowledge & Skills

Attending deliveries as baby nurse
IV start and maintenance
Bubble CPAP and Hi-Flow management
Umbilical line placement assist
Transfer to higher level of care
Titration of D5W and TPN drips
