Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an acute care setting
Assess patient condition and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth patient transitions
Monitor and document patient progress in the medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
Support a culture of safety, infection control and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred
Current CPR certification and clean background checks
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
Skilled in medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Respectful, clear patient and family education
Teamwork, time management and a focus on patient safety
