Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. Standard 30-minute response time. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in all surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general procedures
Support robotic-assisted surgeries using both Mako and DaVinci systems
Ensure seamless patient care from pre-op through recovery
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams during complex procedures
Precept new staff members and share your expertise
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 5 years of hospital OR experience preferred
Strong robotics experience with Mako and DaVinci systems
Proven ability to circulate CABGs, craniotomies, and complex ortho cases
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliable attendance and commitment to patient care excellence

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in circulating cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general surgeries
Robotics experience with both Mako (ortho) and DaVinci (general, urology, CV)
Ability to handle trauma cases and complex procedures
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
Flexibility to float between two nearby campuses
Comfort with call responsibilities and quick response times
