Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with precision and expertise
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
Float to Mother-Baby or L&D units to support newborns and transitioning infants
Deliver evidence-based care following AWHONN/NANN guidelines
Serve as a safety advocate and trusted resource for families during critical moments

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum three years of NICU nursing experience
Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking abilities
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in neonatal ventilation and central line management
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team
Comfortable floating between NICU, Mother-Baby, and L&D units
Knowledge of AWHONN/NANN staffing and care guidelines
Professional appearance with natural nails only per facility policy
