Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients with both medical and behavioral health needs on a specialized Visual Monitor Unit
Monitor telemetry and respond quickly to cardiac changes while maintaining a safe environment
Collaborate with psychiatrists and security teams to deliver holistic patient care
Float to ED psych holds or MedSurg floors as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
Complete skills validation including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes during orientation

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma experience in a 600+ bed facility
Strong MedSurg/Telemetry skills with the ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam
Willingness to work with patients who have secondary psychiatric diagnoses

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
Cerner electronic medical record system
Safe patient handling and sterile technique
De-escalation and behavioral health awareness
Video monitoring and restraint protocols
