Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess patients regularly and create individualized care plans that improve outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families so they leave feeling informed and supported
• Document clinical findings and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Respond promptly to patient changes and participate in emergency interventions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact RN licensure as applicable
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing (prior Med/Surg experience required/preferred)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications a plus
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize care on 12+ hour shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills — you’ll be part of a close-knit unit
• Reliable, professional, and committed to patient-centered care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and protocols
• Clinical skills: IV therapy, medication administration, wound care, patient assessment
• Comfort with electronic health record documentation
• Ability to multitask, triage, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong patient education and family communication skills
