Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to pediatric and med/surg patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility policies
• Monitor patient status and intervene promptly, communicating changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective care plans
• Provide family-centered education and support to patients and caregivers
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact RN licensure as applicable
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing and comfort working with pediatric patients
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; PALS preferred or encouraged
• Current immunizations and the ability to pass required background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Willingness to participate in paid orientation prior to assignment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and monitoring skills for med/surg and pediatric populations
• Medication administration expertise and safe practice knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and manage multiple patients effectively
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital setting with a focus on safety
• Strong patient/family education and communication skills
