Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered Med/Surg nursing care
- Assess patients, monitor clinical status, and implement nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and families
- Educate patients and caregivers on discharge planning and self-care
- Prioritize and coordinate care across a busy Med/Surg unit to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Hawaii or compact RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications a plus
- Previous Med/Surg clinical experience preferred (new graduates may be considered with strong clinical training)
- Strong critical thinking, triage, and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- BSN preferred but not strictly required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and best practices
- Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
