Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday-Sunday, Nights: Friday-Saturday) and holiday rotation shared with permanent staff

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
• Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
• Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor fetal heart patterns using intermediate or advanced skills to ensure mother and baby safety
• Collaborate with 24/7 OB anesthesia providers and in-house OBGYNs for seamless emergency response
• Support high-risk patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use concerns
• Function across the full LDRP spectrum including postpartum couplet care and routine newborn transition

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring preferred
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• No first-time travelers accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP nursing expertise across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Fetal heart monitoring interpretation skills
• Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
• High-risk OB patient management including preeclampsia and diabetic care
• C-section circulation and newborn transition support
• Electronic fetal monitoring with Centricity-perinatal system
