Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications including Magnesium and Oxytocin
Support families through the beautiful journey of childbirth and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with providers to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes
Float to medical-surgical and emergency departments to lend a helping hand when needed
Circulate during C-sections to ensure the safest arrival for every baby

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care
Experience with EFM monitoring using OB Trace Vue
Skilled in titrating drips and managing high-risk antepartum patients
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly in a smaller facility with limited resources
