Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day and night shifts available, self-scheduling with balanced schedules, 3 weekends in a 6-week rotation, rotating holidays, call requirements based on census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in LDRP setting
Monitor and titrate critical medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Support families through the entire birth experience with evidence-based practices
Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes
Float within Zone 1 facilities when needed to support regional patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
LDRP experience required
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
Comfortable working in a small team environment with minimum staffing of 2 RNs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Experience with high BMI, diabetes, and substance use patients
Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios
Proficiency with OBIX EFM system
Ability to work with bubble CPAP equipment
