Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Perform thorough clinical assessments and document changes in condition accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following the five rights of medication administration
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions in a clear, respectful way
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Respond to patient needs and emergent situations with professionalism and clinical competence

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact RN license where applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Experience in acute care or similar clinical setting preferred, but per diem opportunities welcome for all levels
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-first mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing standards, safety practices, and infection control
• Proficient in clinical assessments, medication administration, and IV therapy basics
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good clinical judgment and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
