Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on each assigned shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform timely assessments and monitor patient condition, escalating concerns when needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent care
• Maintain clear, concise electronic and paper documentation
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and informed decisions
• Adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Respond professionally and effectively in urgent or emergent situations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; other certifications (ACLS, PALS) a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapting to varied assignments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail in documentation
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Basic life support and emergency response
• Clinical documentation in electronic health records
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
