Location: Metairie, LA

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed); shift type: RN - ICU. Position start date: 2026-04-06
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients with compassion and precision
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data, responding quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient-centered care plans
- Manage advanced life support interventions and ventilator care as indicated
- Document assessments, interventions and patient progress accurately in the EMR
- Mentor and support colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient and positive ICU environment
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible for LA licensure preferred)
- Experience in ICU/Critical Care nursing (demonstrated clinical competency)
- Comfort working 12.5-hour critical care shifts and managing high-acuity patients
- Current BLS required; ACLS and other critical care certifications preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Assessment and management of critically ill adult patients
- Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced cardiac life support
- Medication administration and titration for critical care therapies
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and thorough clinical documentation
- Ability to prioritize, triage and respond in fast-paced situations
