Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care and patient status clearly in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control standards
• Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, delivering respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or eligible for licensure)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications such as ACLS encouraged
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Reliable, professional demeanor with excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and IV therapy
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate documentation practices
• Knowledge of acute care nursing standards, safety protocols, and infection control
• Skilled at critical thinking, triage, and responding to clinical emergencies
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams and supporting peers
