Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends, 36 hours per week

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage trauma, burns, cardiac, and other acute conditions
Perform critical assessments, administer medications, and monitor telemetry and ventilators
Float between multiple ER locations (Main, Westgate, Litchfield Park, Glendale) as needed
Participate in SIMs Lab training to maintain competency in central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
At least 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience mandatory
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state (must have own vehicle for travel between facilities)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (ENPC does not replace PALS)
TNCC and ATCN certifications preferred
Comfortable with Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

ER Nursing and Trauma Care
Cerner EMR proficiency
Telemetry interpretation
Sterile field maintenance for procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Strong critical thinking and adaptability for floating across multiple sites
