End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ED and MedSurg Swing unit
Manage up to 4 acute patients or 6 swing bed patients per shift
Titrate drips and monitor patient responses
Read telemetry strips and respond to changes
Float to ED holds as needed
Take charge nurse responsibilities when assigned

Qualifications

One year of MedSurg experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
Comfort with titrating common IV drips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Experience with NEBS, oxygen delivery, and CPAP/BiPAP
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
