Location: Woodsville, NH

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 12.5-hour shift (exact start/end times and days not specified); orientation required; RN - BHS shift type

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for behavioral health populations
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
- Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses
- Use therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques to support patient safety
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
- Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Participate in orientation, training, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire, or compact RN licensure where applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; behavioral health certifications a plus
- Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and participating in orientation
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

- Behavioral health assessment and crisis intervention
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Therapeutic communication and de-escalation strategies
- Documentation and electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Care coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Patient safety practices and risk management
