Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status
• Collaborate with the rehab team to implement individualized care plans
• Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies with professionalism and calm
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support recovery goals

Qualifications

• Current RN license (required)
• Experience as a Registered Nurse; travel or per diem experience a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
• Comfort working overnight/extended shifts and in a rehabilitation setting
• Excellent communication skills and strong clinical judgment
• Current, up-to-date immunizations and compliance with facility credentialing

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with rehab-focused care and mobility assistance
• Electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced overnight environment
• Teamwork and clear interdisciplinary communication
