Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations accurately and efficiently to support patient diagnosis and care.
- Position and prepare patients with compassion and clear communication to ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Operate radiologic equipment and imaging systems while following radiation safety protocols and facility policies.
- Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and input findings using basic computer systems.
- Collaborate with clinical team members to deliver high-quality patient care and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, report malfunctions, and participate in quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology (required).
- Illinois Radiologic Technologist license (required).
- CRP Certification (listed as required in the posting).
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge and record-keeping competency.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and basic math ability to support patient care tasks.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in performing X-ray and CT imaging procedures.
- Familiarity with radiological technology best practices and patient positioning techniques.
- Able to apply common sense and follow one- or two-step instructions accurately.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems to enter patient data and procedure notes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and clinical teams.
