Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations accurately and efficiently
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment while maintaining dignity and comfort
• Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients, staff, and yourself
• Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR
• Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to ensure timely patient care
• Assist with equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to keep the department running
• Participate actively in orientation and ongoing training to stay sharp

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or valid state radiologic technologist license (or equivalent)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred; skilled new grads may be considered
• Strong patient-centered communication and the ability to work well in a collaborative team
• Ability to follow protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and prioritize patient safety

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; ARRT certification expected

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with digital radiography and basic imaging workflows
• Solid understanding of patient positioning and anatomy for diagnostic exams
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Comfortable using electronic medical records for image/document uploads and reporting
• Good troubleshooting skills for imaging equipment and accessories
• Compassionate patient care and clear communication skills
